Solicitor Terms of Engagement - these set out the terms on which you agree to engage a solicitor and comply with certain standards recommended by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Law Society of England and Wales and also to indicate as clearly as possible the level and standard of service you can expect and how they will charge for the work they do.

ASAP Probate uses the services of legal consultants including our associated firm – The Law Firm Group Ltd who provide legal work directly to clients through our secure online portal. The Law Firm Group Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales, number 11187289 and is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, number 651795.
Before taking any action whatsoever based on the content of our website or any conversation with an employee of ASAP Probate, you must seek specialist legal advice. We make no guarantees, representations or warranties, whether express or implied, that the content on our website is accurate, complete or up to date.
Use of our website does not create or constitute a solicitor-client relationship between ASAP Probate or any employee of or other person associated with ASAP Probate and a user of our website.

We reserve the right to suspend or decline to provide the service where the required information or documentation is not provided. If you know or suspect that another person knows your password or username, you must inform us immediately.
We have the right to disable your secure account if we have reasonable belief that you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms.
You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access our site. You should use your own virus protection software.
ASAP Probate is responsible for operating the Platform with reasonable care, skill and diligence. This section relates to our role in operating the Platform and does not limit or define the liability of the Legal Service Provider for legal services.
We will not be liable for any loss or delay arising from incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information provided by you or by any third party acting on your behalf.
We will not be liable for delays or failures caused by third parties, including HM Courts & Tribunals Service, HM Revenue & Customs, financial institutions or other organisations outside our reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity or anticipated savings arising from your use of our services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
ASAP Probate uses the services of licensed practising solicitors to provide probate work directly to clients. The solicitors instructed through ASAP Probate are instructed directly by you. By instructing a solicitor, you agree to be bound by the terms of engagement provided by your solicitor.
By submitting your information via our website, you explicitly authorise us to take actions on your behalf regarding the probate matter you submit to us. This includes referring you to a solicitor to carry out work for you and securely passing along the details of your matter.
Regulations by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA), the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC), the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) do not apply to ASAP Probate. They only apply to the solicitor / lawyer who is working on your case.
These terms of use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales, and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
